International. Axalta has been designated as a recommended paint supplier by the BMW Group in markets where the company does not have its own coatings brand, ColorSystem.
The agreement, which came into force in January 2025, will run for several years and will include the BMW Group's dealer network and repair shops in more than 50 countries.
In addition, the BMW Group expanded Axalta's reach as a ColorSystem supplier in the United States and China, adding to its role as an exclusive supplier in Europe and South Africa. ColorSystem, developed by BMW, is renowned for its advanced technology in automotive coatings.

"We will continue to support BMW Group dealers and body repair shops around the world with our innovation and operational excellence."
As part of the agreement, Axalta will supply its paint system with Fast Cure Low Energy technology, designed to reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption, as well as provide technical support and training to BMW's network.
