DC0010 PU Coating is a two-component clear coating designed to offer high gloss and maximum protection in automotive and industrial refinish applications. Formulated with acrylic resins and aliphatic isocyanates, this varnish is characterized by its excellent resistance to UV radiation and chemical substances, guaranteeing durability and quality in the finishes.
Its application is ideal in polyester bilayer systems – flat, metallic or pearlescent – where it allows working with high film thicknesses and achieving a uniform finish with a great appearance. The product comes in gallon and quart sizes, with a theoretical yield of 48 m² per gallon at 25 microns of dry film.
In terms of performance, it stands out for its fast drying: powder-drying in maximum 10 minutes, touch in 30 minutes and ready for handling in 4 hours at 25 °C. It is recommended to apply two coats with a film thickness of 50 to 70 microns, ensuring airing times of 5 minutes between coats.
The DC0010 PU Varnish complies with international quality standards and has a one-year shelf life under suitable storage conditions. For optimal performance, it is essential to follow the technical recommendations for preparation, application and safety, such as the use of nitrile gloves, protective goggles and preparation in ventilated environments.
