Argentina. Glasurit®, BASF's premium brand of Automotive Refinishing, launches its new ProClass line coating offering.
The new ProClass line offers a range of sustainable varnishes with high efficiency, productivity and a new level of quality. The new varnishes are sustainable and efficient at the same time, as they have a low content of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and their fast-drying technology allows workshops to reduce energy consumption, save money and reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions related to the process. This also means increased throughput, thanks to shorter paint booth occupancy times.
"We are very excited to truly lead the industry by enabling our customers and shops to become the fastest, most environmentally friendly and productive repair specialists. We have improved our formulations and processes to optimize performance while reducing the impact on the environment," said Sofia Kandraski, Marketing Manager Latin America of BASF's Automotive Repainting division.

The launch of Glasurit's® ProClass line in Argentina is another example of how chemistry can contribute to reducing consumption, time and CO2 emissions, while being environmentally friendly," said Renata Milanese, Managing Director of BASF for Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay, and concluded: "In Argentina, we have been in Argentina for more than 35 years with our Automotive Repainting division and the arrival of this new range of varnishes it is a clear sign of our commitment to the country and our customers."
