Pipe corrosion caused refinery fire

altSpain. According to the investigations, corrosion was the cause of the fire that occurred at the Repsol refinery, located in La Coruña, on October 10.


According to Luis Felipe Llamas, plant director, the corrosion failure in a feed pipe caused the accident of which the costs caused by the fire are not yet known.
