International. Basf recently announced an increase in the prices of some of its chemicals such as acrylic resins, polymer powders and polymer dispersions.
These increases, however, will only be applied to the markets of Europe, Asia and Africa and have immediate effect or as the contracts allow.
The increase in the prices of these chemicals that are used for the coatings industries in the architectural, construction, printing sectors, among others, varies between US $65 and US$130 per metric ton.
