UVIII Systems, Inc. launched the new EcoCure, a new UV system for three-dimensional curing that has the ability to dry a guitar or an object of similar size in a period of between five and eight minutes in a 120-volt outlet.This system works much better with low and low VOC high solid coatings and was designed to collaborate with the environment by using UV technologies, in which less VOC is produced than in other processes.
Similarly, Ecocure is designed to consume less energy, generating significant savings for applicators.

DSA30 is krüss's new drop shape analysis system. The DSA30 combines the functionality and simple construction of an optical measuring bench with the possibilities otherwise only found in the high-end segment of contact angle measurement techniques: dynamic measurements, automatic liquid test selection and positioning decrease or measurements on inclined surfaces. 
The volume reduction technique of the KRÜSS DVT50 records interfacial voltage under dynamic conditions, over an interface range from fractions of a second to several minutes. Whether by pumping, agitation or flooding, oil-water interfaces are always in motion, and just knowing the value of the interfacial tension equilibrium is not enough. 
The German company Bayer Material Science added two new products to its range of wood and real estate coatings which meet environmental requirements. The Bayhydrol UV XP 2690 and 2687 will look to meet the demand for coatings with the Waterborne UV system for a market that has grown steadily over the past five years.
