Intumescent paint
Sapolín presents the new water-based paint with intumescent pigments, which when it reaches a certain temperature forms a foamy layer that acts as a barrier between fire and the material it must protect.
The paint comes in matt white and can be used as protection on materials such as steel metal pillars and beams, as well as on trusses. This application delays at least one hour the action of the fire against the affected surface.
Another advantage of intumescent paint is that it provides an architectural finish, is of high durability, easy application and is non-toxic.
