TQC's paint abrasion and washability tester can measure the scratch or discolor resistance of any paint, varnish or coating by wet or dry abrasion.
This equipment manages to simulate wear and tear for general use or cleaning, by programming a fixed number of rubs or setting the number of rubs needed before a paint or coating wears, in an "approved/unapproved" type test.
Testator features include a speed of 1 to 60 cycles per minute, a rubbing distance of 20 to 300 mm with an accuracy of 0.01 mm, for samples 350 mm long, 70 mm wide and 35 mm thick.
Additionally, the equipment operates at 100-240V AC, with a maximum consumption of 50W, has a liquid crystal display panel and 5-button control panel, compatible with mouse and conventional keyboard.
