Argentina. From February 4, the Ibero-American Technological Association of Paints, Adhesives and Inks (Atipat) will hold the International Course in Superintensive Format of Chemical Coating Formulator, which will be held at its headquarters in Buenos Aires.
Atipat has formulated a super intensive course, developed throughout the months of February and mid-March of each year, and that through a significant effort of teachers and students, allows those who enroll to obtain a very good level of knowledge. The body of teachers is the same as the normal course that the Association manages and that has a duration of three years.
The program is aimed at students of chemistry, engineering and related careers; technicians and professionals from the ink, paint and related industries, and their suppliers, from the sectors of development, quality control, production and customer services.

- Week 1 Modules: Solvents and Additives (1st pt) Solvents, Pigments and Fillers. General. Types of additives used in coatings
- Week 2 Modules: Additives (2nd pt) and Polymers Introduction. Solubility parameters. Emulsion polymerization. Polyesters. Alquids. Acrylic. Polyurethanes. Epoxies. Natural Resins, Ketone, Hydrocarbons. Functionality and ways of using additives.
- Week 3 Modules: Production -Inks Formulation of Inks. Flexographic. Gravure. Lithographic. Screen printing. Pad printing. Offset inks. Liquid Inks. Quality Control of inks.
- Week 4 Modules: Formulation 1 - Formulation of the following products: Textured Coatings, Home and Construction Paints, Powder Paints, Spray Paints, Coil Coating Paints, Can Coating Paints, Industrial Paints, Cost Calculation.
- Week 5 Modules: Formulation 2 : Formulation of the following products : Industrial Maintenance Paints Marine Paints, Automotive Paints (terminals and repainting), Artistic Paints, Leather Paints, Textile Printing Paints.
- Week 6 Modules: Color, Quality, Coating Quality Control Application. Paint Color Adjustment. Occupational Safety. Environmental Protection
