International. Companies from the paints and coatings industry around the world will gather from 19 to 21 March 2019 for the European Coatings Show. This exhibition, which attracted 1,135 exhibitors and more than 30,000 trade visitors to its last edition in 2017, will once again turn the Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg, Germany, into the platform for international dialogue for the industry.
It will be extended to eight rooms for the first time in 2019 and will offer experts, decision makers and visionaries even more space to share ideas with professional colleagues. By expanding the venue, the organizers are responding to strong demand from exhibiting companies, whose presentations include raw materials for painting, coating, sealant and adhesive, laboratory and manufacturing equipment, test and measurement devices, and associated services. The European Coatings Show Conference will bring together professional players just before the main show, from 18 to 19 March.
The increasing demands for paints and coatings are setting the trends that will be discussed at the European Coatings Show 2019. Ultimately, both industry and consumers are increasingly demanding coating products that are not only reliable and visually appealing, but are also classified as functional and environmentally friendly.
Trends and innovations now in eight exhibition halls
Technologies such as UV and UV-LED curing and sustainable formulations, known as green coatings, represent a growing market. Many exhibitors at the European Coatings Show cater to this market segment with innovative components for water-based paints and low-VOC formulations, organic-based materials and sustainable raw materials.
Suppliers of raw materials for paints, printing inks and adhesives, and intermediates for construction chemistry and associated services will have their products on display in six showrooms in 2019. Two more rooms will bring together laboratories and production facilities, test and measurement devices, and the fields of environmental protection and industrial safety.
