Mexico. Chromaflo Technologies announced the acquisition of central de Colores Plásticos( Cecoplas) dye business. Chromaflo Technologies and Cecoplas have reached a purchase agreement through which Chromaflo Technologies will acquire Cecplas dyes with production in Querétaro. The business acquisition has been effective since November 1, 2018.
"The acquisition of this Cecoplas business is consistent with our efforts in supplying quality dyes and additives for high-performance thermoset products in the Americas and beyond markets," said Scott Becker, President and CEO of Chromaflo Technologies. "The addition of Cecoplas will provide us with the opportunity to serve the Mexican market to a more effective degree."
Production will remain at the current location in Mexico. This will enhance Chromaflo Technologies' manufacturing facilities in North America.
