Panama. Novey and PPG partnered and, in a joint effort, brought to Panama the Glidden Color Tester, an Italian technology device, exclusive to the Central American and Panamanian market and the first of the Glidden paint brand worldwide.
It is a fully automatic 100 ml paint sample dispenser that offers Novey and Glidden customers the possibility to experience their favorite colors in any space, with a dynamic as simple as selecting a color, taking the sample and applying the paint on the chosen surface.
The objective is to encourage customers to use, not only 1 but 3 colors, applying Glidden's 3G formula that allows spaces to look balanced when combined in different proportions (60% the color that is wanted as the main, 30% the secondary color and 10% the third color as an accent).
"With the Color Tester people will be able to really see and experience the color they chose on the surface they want to paint. They will no longer have to imagine it," said María del Mar Ruiz, PPG Glidden's Color and Experience Manager for Central America, during the presentation of the device, which will be exclusively in Novey Panama and will rotate through its branches in Los Angeles and Obarrio.
As an additional value, in the kiosk there will always be a professional interior decorator, trained to provide specialized and personalized advice on color and decoration for each client and their individual project.
The presentation of Color Tester was attended by Gerardo Durán, Commercial Manager South Zone of PPG Comex Latin America (owner of Glidden); Robert Maduro, Business Manager of Novey; Diego Foresi, Managing Director PPG Comex Latin America; the television presenter, Ana Lucía Herrera, host of the event; José Francisco Palacios, General Manager of Novey; Henrik Berström, President of PPG Comex Latin America, and Horacio Dobal, Director of Brand and Marketing of PPG Comex for Central America. They were accompanied on the occasion by customers, distributors and friends of both companies.
