International. PPG announced the completion of a US$1.4 million investment in its automotive adhesive and sealants (A&S) manufacturing and research and development (R&D) center in Saint-Just-en-Chaussée, France.
Improvements to the facility include new water-based LASD (Applied Liquid Sound Damper) structural adhesives and manufacturing cells, lab and test space improvements, improved equipment to simulate automotive body shop conditions, and enhanced technical capabilities. This facility enhances the link between PPG's R&D efforts and customer needs with integrated services and increased resources.
