Colombia. The city of Bogotá will be the headquarters of a new course of Qualification of auditors for application of coatings which will take place from June 23 to 26.
The course aims to train and qualify professionals involved in auditing and quality assurance processes for activities related to the application of coatings for corrosion control in conduction lines, storage and process tanks, metal structures and infrastructure equipment.
The course has as a requirement that professionals have a demonstrable experience of one year in work and activities of auditing for coating application.
Topics include some such as corrosion fundamentals, corrosion control programs, surface preparation regulations, coating application methods, handling and care workshop in spray coating application processes, practical coating evaluation workshop, among others.
