Resin supplier Allnex announced an investment for its Radcure business unit at its manufacturing facility in Drogenbos, Belgium.
The investment will increase the production capacity of UV/EB curable acrylates by 12,000 tons. The project consists of the construction of a new fully automated reactor, modifications to existing reactor lines and a greater load capacity of bulk trucks. Customer service and product offerings will not be affected during this deployment phase. Completion is scheduled for June 2017.
Audrey De Wulf, Regional Business Director, Radcure EMEA, said: "Our customers in the industrial coatings, graphics and specialty applications sectors foresee continued growth of Radcure technology in Europe and around the world. Our new capability at Drogenbos will allow Allnex to continue to meet market demand and serve our customers with current and new UV/EB curable products."
