Wanhua Chemical has received PPG's 2015 Excellent Supplier award at a ceremony in Pittsburgh. Dr. Carl Hua, senior vice president of Wanhua Chemical, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
On an annual basis, PPG purchases more than $7.5 million in goods and services globally from thousands of suppliers. Criteria for this award include quality, business value, delivery, documentation, innovation, responsiveness, sustainability and participation in PPG's Value Added Effort (SAVE) Program.
"Wanhua Chemical exceptionally served PPG in 2015, with excellent products, services, innovation and overall value," said Radhika Batra, PPG representative. "We are thrilled to recognize Wanhua's efforts with his award."
Wanhua Chemical's portfolio of polymers, specialty chemicals, coating materials and petrochemicals provide a wide variety of innovative and proven products and solutions. The company has three globally integrated production sites and has established subsidiaries and branches around the world. In Latin America its main center operates in Brazil.
