In the framework of the XIII National Congress of Corrosion and Protection and IV International Congress of Structural Integrity; the Colombian Association of Corrosion and Protection (Ascor) will hold a free seminar.
The seminar at no cost, but with limited space, called "Corrosion at high temperature", is aimed at students and engineering professionals interested in the subject and will be held on August 23 at the Antonio Nariño University, Cartagena Headquarters.
Some topics of the seminar are Introduction to high temperature corrosion, cases and standards, Aggressive environments and industrial processes with great impact of high temperature corrosion, Oxidation in steam and oxidation in oxygen. Protective coatings, carburization and metal dusting. Protective coatings, among others.
