Costa Rica.
Precision Coating, a life sciences company, headquartered in Massachusetts, Hudson, is establishing operations in Costa Rica, with a new plant located in El Coyol, Alajuela.
The company selected Costa Rica due to the solid experience and recognition worldwide as one of the most competitive places for the installation of investment projects related to the sector.
The new plant will allow the company to run highly automated processes with cutting-edge technology. Early estimates indicate that in the medium term, the company will hire 30 people.
The Minister of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica, Alexander Mora, was satisfied with the news and thanked the company for having confidence in Costa Rica to develop this new operation there.
The new plant, which covers 1,300 m², will be operational by the end of July. Precision Coating offers fluoropolymer coating solutions and their derivatives for a wide range of medical applications and processes.
The company began the contracting process for the plant, which will require engineers and technicians who specialize in the manufacture and assembly of basic chemistry.
