The organization of the fifth edition of the American Coatings Show (ACS) indicated that this is now officially the most successful event in its history. While he had already broken all the previous records ranging from the size of the exhibition floor, the number of exhibitors, to the registration number, now the previous records have been broken.
Registration numbers reached 9,100 people with 559 exhibiting companies participating in the more than 130,000 square meters of exhibition space presenting their latest technologies for the coatings, paints, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives industries.
INPRA LATINA was present at the fair, knowing the latest trends in products for the formulation of paints and coatings, where a remarkable advance in the commercialization of products with an environmentally friendly trend and with better performance continues to be evidenced. The impression that the event left for us this year was that of the low presence of members of the Latin American sector, where most of the participants came from Mexico and the Caribbean, but where little attendance was observed from representatives of South America.
It is worth highlighting the presence of the big players in the world market, such as Lanxess, BASF, Evonik, Kronos, Emerald, Munzing, Covestro, Solvay, BYK, Chromaflo, Wacker, Celanese, Lubrizol, AkzoNobel, Croda, Clariant, Sun Chemical, Arkema, among others.
The organization confirmed that the event will be held again in 2018 in the city of Indianapolis, Indiana.
