Axalta Coating Systems announced the worldwide launch of its latest epoxy cathode electro coating product, aimed at manufacturers looking for coatings designed to improve performance and performance with various substrates, part designs and pre-treatments.
The AquaEC™ 6100 offers mechanical properties with superior corrosion resistance and improved edge protection. It is also designed to improve productivity while reducing application costs. In addition, it has a tin-free technology that helps achieve environmental objectives.
The launch was accompanied by NASCAR icon Jeff Gordon: "It's an honor to have Jeff, he's always been at the forefront of the sport, at the global launch of the AquaEC™ 6100," said Mike Cash, Axalta's senior vice president and president of the industrial coatings business unit.
