During the 2016 American Coatings Show (April 12-14), the pigments and advanced materials divisions will showcase a variety of resins (based on the technologies of their parent company, DIC) and pigments that will expand their water-based offering for architectural, industrial and automotive coatings.
The company will launch a new range of highly concentrated VOC-free aluminium preparations for inks and coatings. Designed for long-term stability of gassing in aqueous environments. The product can be used in either solvent or water-based systems, providing maximum formulation flexibility. Each grade of Preparations of the Compal WS product is delivered in an easily dispersible granular form for safe and easy handling, better storage stability, and numerous other advantages in transport.
Another of the technologies that the company will present are pigments and resins for plastics in car interiors. These vacuum-metallized pigments range from a glossy clean "white" to intense dark chrome reflections and are available in various solvents for almost all coating applications. The Esplendor range of pigments finds a wide application for consumer electronics, interiors and automotive wheels.
