Brookfield/Ametek unveiled the new DVE viscometer featuring a new user interface and keyboard. The updated DVE now has a contemporary design, adopting the look and feel of the DV1, DV2T and DV3T family.
The attractive illuminated display features distinctive alphanumeric characters that are easy to see, both up close and far. The bubble level has been conveniently placed on the front of the instrument below the display panel so that users can easily adjust the instrument for a real upright position.
The updated DVE also offers a selection of scientific units for viscosity measurement including both cgs units: cP units (centipoises) and P (Poise), and SI: Pa-s (Pascal-seconds) and mPa-s (milliPascal seconds).
Viscosity test parameters including spindle identity and rotation speed can now be quickly selected from a table in the instrument's memory. And, the new display shows the test control parameters (spindle, speed) and measured values (% of torque, viscosity).
