Mexico. The Mexican Institute of Technicians in Paints and Inks, IMTPyT, technical body of the National Association of Manufacturers of Paints and Inks, Anafapyt, announces the opening of the calls to present papers at the IMTPyT 2020 Technical Conference to be held from April 22 to 24 next year in Guadalajara.
Among the requirements for the postulated papers is that these must be of a scientific and technical nature, with a maximum duration of 60 minutes (45 for presentation and 15 for questions), the presentation must be sent in PDF or PowerPoint format with a minimum of 30 and maximum 45 slides. In addition, the use of trademarks is not allowed, although the speaker's company logo may be included on the first and final slide.
Anafapyt proposes various topics for the presentations, such as "Novelties in the manufacturing process; Innovations in formulation; Trends and classification of paints, inks and coatings; Nanotechnology applied to the formulation; Safety, environment and sustainability; New developments or optimization of raw materials", among others.
It should be noted that the elements that the IMTPyT Technical Committee will take into account to approve the proposals are the originality, relevance of the topic, content of the presentation, practical application of the topic, value it represents for the attendees and clarity in communication.
Registrations for receipt of forms and files with the papers will be open until October 31, 2019.
