Colombia. For the second time in 2019, Pintuco received the GreenGuard Gold certification for the Intervinil Pro 400 anchor paint, and the Viniltex Pro 650 finish paint, certifying that they are low or zero VOC emission coatings, thus complementing its portfolio for constructions that are or seek LEED certifications version 2009 V4 or V4.1.
The Intervinil Pro 400 paint, also called anchoring paint is the first layer that is applied on walls in interior environments such as dining rooms, living rooms and rooms, while Viniltex Pro 650 is a finishing paint for interiors that according to the NTC 1335 standard, is the highest specification type one vinyl on the market.
The new certification is in addition to the one received in May of this year by the Epoxy Water Base, which is used to protect and decorate walls of those environments where cleaning factors are important.
"We can affirm that we are the only company in the country that produces paints to have in its portfolio three products with this certification, this makes me extremely proud since we not only deliver products that help builders be more sustainable, we also improve construction practices, to create healthy environments for people," says Juan Carlos Moreno, president of Pintuco.
The GreenGuard Gold certification is granted by UL Environment, is international in nature and necessary for coatings that are used in projects that seek LEED V4 and V4.1 sustainability certifications, both in the indoor air quality credit and for the credit of materials and resources, and the WELL certification, in the VOC Reduction credit.
