International. Carlos Hernández has joined Orion Engineered Carbons as Technical Manager of Market, Coatings and Specialized Applications, Region of the Americas. In this role you will develop new products and applications for customers and collaborate with them to solve technical problems.
Mr. Hernandez is a 30-year experienced professional from the coatings industry, with experience in color dispersion for architectural, automotive and industrial paints and coatings. Most recently, he served for nine years as Technical Manager of Elementis Specialties Inc., where he produced additives and color dispersions for automotive, maritime, adhesive and sealing, architectural, industrial, furniture and UV applications.
Carlos Hernández earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Colombia in Medellin, Antioquia.
