This year is special for INPRA LATINA. We are turning 20 years old! Contributing, from communication, our grain of sand to an industry full of great professionals in search of constant learning. For that reason we are preparing a special about our anniversary that will be published in the next editions.
Analyzing 2015, and as every beginning of the year, experts and professionals related to the industry launch their predictions about what is coming in terms of new technologies, negotiations and sale and marketing of paints, coatings and their entire formulation chain.
Within the guild there are varied opinions as to how the industry will fare throughout the year. If we set our eyes on Brazil, being the main market in the region, many of the professionals in that country reserve themselves when it comes to giving ample growth figures. Brazil is a country that is not going through its best economic present and the local government has been designing strategies to avoid a recession.
But that doesn't mean our guild there has a bad year. The only thing we can predict thanks to the comments of the sector is that the goals for companies will focus on maintaining the numbers of 2014, and if there is growth it will be well received. The Abrafati fair, which will take place from October 13 to 15 in Sao Paulo, will give a clearer vision of the market present.
Mexico, on the other hand, is going through a positive moment for companies, and will continue to seek to approach the line of Brazilians as the leaders of the region in terms of greater consumption of paints per capita. In 2015, this nation will host two important events such as the Anafapyt Latin American Coatings Show that will be held from June 30 to July 2 and the Latin American Coatings Show (July 15 and 16).
Other countries such as Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Chile remain stable markets that will continue to bet on growth, as a result of a good international trade policy and the increase in the construction sector, to continue establishing themselves as nations with a good present and a promising future.
We wish you a great year 2015!
