Germany/China. Lanxess confirmed the construction of a new global production plant for inorganic pigments that will be located on the east coast of China.
The plant, which will produce red iron oxide pigments, will have an investment of 55 million euros, will have an installed capacity of 25,000 metric tons and will create 150 new jobs in the process.
Construction of these facilities will begin in the second quarter of 2013 and production is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2015.
