Mexico. Inpra Latina published last September (Ver nota) an interesting research paper on the manufacture of paints and coatings from the recycling of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), now its creator is offering this technology to companies committed to the environment.
Comex had expressed interest in analyzing the development, but after the business in which Sherwin Williams bought the Mexican, the agreement did not happen. Now, José Luis Cardoso, who developed the research, wants to train and publicize the way in which this technology is developed and the benefits obtained.
"I am willing to teach the technology to any company that wants to recycle bottles to produce the resin and apply it in the manufacture of paints and waterproofing. The process is very economical and simple, since with the help of a suitable equipment any manufacturer can manufacture its own resin and recycle PET bottles, "said Cardoso.
