International. For the second year in a row, white leads DuPont's global vehicle color ranking called the "Color Popularity Report."
Black ranks second in this year's global ranks, largely due to the growing popularity in the Asia Pacific market, as this color has a global perception of high quality and luxury. Silver fell to third place, as its popularity has declined due to the gradual global decline, especially in the large major automotive markets of Europe and Asia.
In South America, the silver color leads the market with 29%, although it fell by 1% compared to the previous year. White rose 4 points and placed second with 21%, third black (19%), four for gray (13%), fifth red (9%), sixth beige (5%), blue (2%) and green 1%). declines in silver, grey and red were comparable to increases in white and blue.
