China. From November 28 to 30, all eyes will be on Guangzhou, where a new version of ChinaCoat, a specialized event on the coatings, printing inks and adhesives industry, will be held.
The event hopes to exceed the figures of the previous year, where they had an exhibition area of 24,500 square meters, to locate 1,005 exhibitors from 30 countries, which were visited by 24,865 people (4,163 foreigners).
ChinaCoat revealed figures indicating that the total production of the coatings industry in China during 2010 was 7.7 billion tons with an estimated value of US$18 billion, which means about 20% of the global paint market. In the first half of 2011, total production was 4,800 tons.
