Evonik's new Tego Airex 990 and 991 represent a new generation of defoamers and desalinants for solvent-based coatings with high solids content.
This liquid product contains 100% active substance, are free of organic solvents and coat. The formulator now has the opportunity to establish the content of the solvent.
The Airex 990 is a deaerant compatible with transparent and pigmented coatings, its strength lies in the balance of compatibility and effective deaeration. It can be used in any spray application.
On the other hand, 991 is a powerful deaerative for pigmented fillers and coatings. Due to its outstanding performance against micro and macro foam it can be used in different systems, with special emphasis on airless AIRMIX and roller application.
