Coating for showcases
Evonik Industries develops its new coating called Plexiglas designed for transparent showcases such as that of museums, the new product applies in these places where a clear view of the surface is required even when exposed to constant contact with the public.

This material is resistant to scratches and chemicals, it is suitable for image glazing in furniture of shops, exhibition centers and museums. The coating ensures surface quality even when exposed to heavy wear.

The new Evonik application can be produced in thicknesses from 1.5 to 16 mm, the sheet with the coating also absorbs UV rays, therefore protects images and objects from a possible yellowish color.
