BYK awards an aditivio as its product of 2010

The Product Disperbyk-2012®, for marine and architectural paints, was selected as the winner of BYK's 2010 Innovation Award, following the judges' decision to analyze the innovative approach of the solution, approval for the large market and teamwork exhibited during its development.

The dispersing additive provides stabilization for a wide range of pigments, such as organic and black carbon. In addition, it is suitable for crushed mixtures containing co-solvents, amines or surfactants.

"The teamwork that led to the development of this innovative solution has been an especially relevant component of the project evaluation, and therefore key to the award. This year, a total of three teams were involved in the development of this innovative and dispersing additive moisturizer," the official statement reads.
