Brazil. Abstracts on case studies and innovative developments can be sent to the International Congress of Paintings, Abrafati 2011, to be held between November 21 and 23 in São Paulo.
The new deadline applies to both oral presentations and posters. In the same way, each of the abstracts focused on sustainability and innovative uses of raw materials must have between 20 and 30 lines and include the title of the work, main author, co-authors and institution or company to which they are related.
For Telma Florencio, administrative and marketing manager of Abrafati, "this extension is given in response to suggestions and requests from potential participants. "On the one hand there is the demand of industry professionals and their suppliers and those who need more time to prepare a high-level study, and on the other, there has been growing interest from researchers from countries that had little attendance at our congress, such as those in Asia or Eastern Europe and that need more time to plan.
In the same way, according to Dilson Ferreira, executive president of the congress, "the sample already received allows us to affirm that we will have an interesting mix of studies on very relevant topics, currently and in the future, for the technological and sustainable advancement of the sector. The presence of world-renowned experts will contribute to disseminating fundamental knowledge and discussing at a high level the painting-oriented solutions of the future."
