In Latin America, the company recorded sales growth of 19.1%, reaching US$2,404.97 million. Specifically in Mexico, where Henkel has been present for more than 50 years, records exceeded US$ 474 million.
The Adhesive Technologies division was the one that showed the greatest increase with 17.4%, and according to the same document, competition led to the fall in prices compared to the previous year, however, the effect could be offset thanks to the growth of quantities.
"We have improved our market positions in all divisions and strengthened our core brands," said Kasper Rorsted, Chairman of Henkel's Board of Directors. "However, macroeconomic conditions remain challenging, especially due to strong competition and rising commodity costs."
