At the end of the annual conference of Nace International, the Corrosion Society, in March, the body announced the election of the new Board of Directors, which is composed of 16 members, 12 of them directors and 4 officers.These 16 professionals who will provide their experience and knowledge to the Society, will represent 22,800 members from more than 100 countries that make up Nace International.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors is Christopher M Fowler, Global Head of Corrosion for Exova, and has been a member of Nace International since 1989. Oliver Moghissi, director of the Materials and Technology Center at DNV Technologies, was selected as vice president.
Delmar Doyle, acting executive director of Nace, commented that he is very pleased with the election of the new Board, and reiterated that the Society has many members and programs in various industries and countries in order to help preserve the critical infrastructure of the world.
