With Iriodin ® 327 Fine Star Gold, Merck is making available a new gold-gloss pigment for the coatings industry. Due to its semi-transparency, the new pigment combines exceptionally with other pigments with gold gloss and the small particle size of 327 ® Iriodin Fine Star Gold lends a coating with fine gloss. This leads, for example, in combination with Iriodin Gold ® Star, to better control of color and texture and in turn results in a multitude of metallic luster tones, ranging from bronze tones to a delicate gold gloss effect. Chemical and stable pigment light is suitable for industrial coatings, powder coatings, plastic, wood or leather coatings, as well as for use in scattering and artistic paintings.
