Sustainability Report
The North American firm Dupont presented the progress of its sustainability program presented in 1996 and 2006, which include the goals of optimization and reduction in energy consumption, as well as the reduction of the environmental impact in its activities.
According to the report, the company had a 9.5% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions since 2004, which represents 62% of the goal set for 2015.
Likewise, it registers an advance in its sustainability goals, where it highlights that 36% of DuPont locations worldwide have been certified in the ISO 14000 standard. This last item is related to the commitment to combine environmental objectives, both in the reduction of environmental impact, and the inclusion of market goals, also integrating the development of new products more friendly to the environment.
