Houses and parks painted in Color Week
International. As part of its actions of social responsibility, the multinational AkzoNobel will develop during this month the program "Color Week", in which massive actions of maintenance of facades will be developed in the main cities where the brand is present.
In Latin America, the two most representative actions will be carried out in Brazil and Argentina. In the latter country , the Railway Station Of Mitre will be painted, a building considered heritage of the community of the province of Buenos Aires, where the Alba plant is located, the brand under which the architectural coatings of the multinational are marketed.
"What this program seeks is to transmit the transformative power that color has in people's lives, motivating and inspiring them to experience it through initiatives like this, where they can experience that the process of transformation through color is simple and very rewarding," said Rodolfo Seró, General Manager of Akzo Nobel Decorative Paintings in Argentina.
Simultaneously, the Coral brand, corresponding to the architectural line that is marketed in Brazil, has been running the "Tudo de cor para você" program since August, in which 96,000 liters of paint have already been used to renovate buildings for public use in cities such as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, Salvador and Ouro Preto, among others.
The repair days are complemented by training programs for empirical applicators from the beneficiary regions, and the direct involvement of volunteers who have been responsible for the work of repainting facades throughout the country.
