Clariant's Dispersogen AN 200 EcoTain is a surfactant-based dispersing agent for both water- and solvent-based decorative paint preparations and is suitable for inorganic and organic pigments, as well as special carbon blacks.
The product is especially recommended for use in dyes directly at the point of sale and for concentrates for factory dyeing. The general recommended dosage is 10-50% in organic pigments and 5-20% in inorganic pigments.
Dispersogen AN 200 also serves as a wetting and compatibilizing agent in PVC paints with high water content, as well as in low-water PVC lacquers and solvents. For this application, the dosage is 0.6-1.9% in emulsion paints, 1.5-1.9% in acrylic lacquers and 1.3-1.9% in alkyd lacquers.
