Konica Minolta Sensing introduces the new CM-M6 Multi Angle Spectrophotometer to the paints and coatings market. The CM-M6 has been specially designed for measurements of metallic colors or paints with effects, such as pearlescent, where visual changes can be perceived with different viewing angles. That is why the CM-M6 Multi Angle Spectrophotometer provides measurement data at six selectable angles.
The CM-M6 has a new patented dual-path optical system, which directs illumination at 45° and 6 observation angles to achieve stable measurements, even on curved surfaces. This new patented dual-path optical system is ideal for outdoor measurements in the automotive industry, facilitating color measurements on bumpers, mirrors and handles of vehicles.
Its compact, vertical and lightweight design allows fast and accurate measurements and also has a large backlit high-resolution screen facilitating reading in low ambient light conditions. The CM-M6 also features optional SpectraMagic DX software for storing, exporting and printing data.
