Evonik has developed two new silicone free-flowing leveling agents. These are the TEGO Flow 375 and the TEGO Flow 460 N, created specifically for use in cans and for coil coatings. Both products are listed worldwide and are suitable for direct contact with food (FDA 175,300).
TEGO Flow 375 and TEGO Flow 460 N exclude all kinds of impurities and craters, thus ensuring smooth production. The flow and leveling of the additives exhibit an improvement in heat resistance and give durability to the coating, in addition to a high-quality appearance.
TeGO Flow is compatible in solvent-based formulations, achieves optimal brightness values and is aromatic-free; The TEGO Flow 460 N possesses degassing characteristics and allows a flawless application, especially in pigment formulations, it is also free of aromatics.
Both have very good adhesion and wetting properties in multi-layer finishes, to be used in all layers without harming the painting process.
