United States. BASF received the Supplier of the Year award from General Motors (GM) for the tenth time in the last thirteen years. The award was received by Joe Schmondiuk, BASF's vice president of global accounts, during GM's annual ceremony in Detroit.
"BASF is pleased to have once again won this recognition from GM," said Schmondiuk. "This demonstrates the strong commitment and ability of our team to deliver the innovative solutions GM needs. We see GM as a key partner in the automotive industry and are pleased that we have been able to support them in several key product launches in 2014."
BASF's coatings division supports GM by combining modern pigment painting processes and special effects technologies. BASF has a range of solutions and processes that enable automotive manufacturers to improve productivity and environmental color performance.
