International. Evonik Industries reported that shell MDS (Malaysia) has named it as a new partner in the distribution of gas-to-liquid (GTL Hardwaxes) Hardwaxes in South America.
Based on a successful distribution partnership, in Europe, since 1996, by which Evonik managed to increase sales of Shell Hardwaxes GTL under the brand name "Shell GTL Sarawax", Evonik's territory is now expanding, as of April 1, 2015. It is Shell's second term for Evonik for GTL Hardwaxes following its announcement in the South American region earlier this year.
Shell's decision to name Evonik as its new distribution partner in the growing South American market builds on existing infrastructure, with local warehouses, as well as a dedicated sales force and customer service in the region.
