International. ASTM International announced that a new build is now available called: STP1563 Tribo-corrosion: Research, Analysis and Application.
The book contains twelve peer-reviewed articles, and is written by international experts in tribo-corrosion. Topics include aspects such as: how the chemistry of the surrounding environment can interact with mechanical contact to cause a rapid increase in material loss; the role of tribo-corrosion in erosive situations; tribo-corrosion in machinery; the difficult challenge of ensuring the reliability of nuclear power plants, and a discussion of ongoing collaborations between European professional organisations in the field of corrosion and tribo-corrosion.
