Mexico. In the framework of the Expo Latin American Coating Show 2013 to be held from June 10 to 12 in the Mexican capital, the National Association of Manufacturers of Paints and Inks (Anafapyt), organizer of the event, announced its interest in grouping SMEs and marketing with the government.
The Association aims to integrate small and medium-sized enterprises. Its president, Javier Maldonado Moctezuma, spoke about the importance of taking advantage of the investments in development and research made by large brands to bring them to SMEs, and highlighted the existing opportunity that opened up in the sector after Comex's alliance with Sherwin Williams.
The executive is optimistic about the expectations presented by the current government in the economic issue, with which he expects an ideal stability to act during the event with the aim of opening an important participation to SMEs in terms of access with the government.
