The inspection equipment company for the paint, concrete and metals industry, Elcometer Limited, announced the acquisition of Dakota Ultrasonics Incorporated, located in Santa Cruz, California.Dakota Ultrasonics is a manufacturer of ultrasonic thickness gauge equipment, fault detectors, ultrasonic bolting equipment and transducers.
According to Michael Sellars, Managing Director of Elcometer, "Dakota's commitment to manufacturing high-quality products for the non-destructive testing industry is the first of its kind," adding that the goals of both organizations will improve and strengthen service to the global inspection community.
