Nanotechnology is the new commitment of the government of La Rioja to improve competitiveness and promote the creation of new products in the chemical, automotive, construction sectors, among others.Varnishes for outdoor wood with water-repellent properties and greater UV resistance, anti-corrosion paints for railings and metal decorative elements, and paints and varnishes with fireproof properties that reduce the chances of fire, would be some of the products created with this innovative technology.
All the projects would be carried out through the Action Plan for the Incorporation of Nanotechnology of the government of La Rioja to open new national and international markets, and it is estimated that it can benefit around 60% of the companies in this Spanish city.
