International. AkzoNobel completes acquisition of Sherwin-Williams' Chinese decorative paints business.
According to the company, the acquisition will further boost its position in China and allow it to further market segmentation, in addition to strengthening its position outside the premium segment.
The company has an annual revenue of approximately 100 million euros and employs around 300 people. The transaction includes the renowned decorative paint brand Huarun, which has a long history and is well recognized in China.
The Chinese decorative paintings business is known within Sherwin-Williams as the Chinese architectural paintings business.
