International. Nazdar, a manufacturer of inks and coatings for a wide range of commercial applications, announces that it has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal for sustainability.
EcoVadis examines a company's sustainability management in relation to the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing.
During its most recent assessment of Nazdar, EcoVadis analyzed the company's ongoing efforts to become more sustainable, as well as its plans to implement more environmental programs.
Nazdar has a long-term commitment to the environment and has launched a number of initiatives not only to help the company achieve its own goals, but also to pass them on to customers who have similar ambitions and goals.
"We are absolutely thrilled to have been recognized for our sustainable efforts," said Evan Benbow, Nazdar's Vice President of Research and Development.
"We are very proud of our various environmental programs and how they have helped both the business and our customers. Having this commitment recognized by a global organization like EcoVadis is an important endorsement," added Benbow.
